Who Stole the Lock?
by Troy / Williams and new words by Miller
I quenched my thirst by the Warwick Two,
Then it’s off to the bottom of Hatton I flew,
When I saw this bloke untie in haste
Seen me coming and slammed the gates in my face.
Chorus 1
Who stole the lock, I don’t know?
Who stole the lock, I just gotta see?
I’ll find out before I go
Who stole the lock in front of me?
He went out above me, the gates open wide,
Left all paddles up, well I nearly died,
Reset the lock as fast as I might
And chased that --- --- up the flight.
Chorus 1
If he’s tied up at the pub when I get there
I’ll tell him straight, of that you can swear
And he’ll find out, it’s plain to see
That nobody ever steals a lock of me.
Chorus 2
Who stole the lock, I don’t know?
Who stole the lock, I just gotta see?
I’ll teach him before I go
Nobody steals a lock off me.
