The Navvies A Concert featuring the ‘folk drama’ by Mick Ryan Chester Folk Festival commissioned Mick Ryan to write a musical drama which was premiered as The Navvies at the festival in 2006, performed by Mick Ryan and a host of talented local performers. This was put on-line as part of Chester Folk Festival Online 2020. This work was subsequently released as a two-disc CD entitled ‘The Navvy’s Wife’ in 2008. Details.
